Mix it up With Melange & Theme Thursday Challenge

It is funny there should be a challenge about dance this week. A very sweet girl I know named Barbara is about to graduate from college next week. I have been wanting to make her an art piece but I had no idea what to do. One of her majors is dance, so this challenge gave me the push I needed to get started.

Except for the mats, all the color is done in ink. I even cut out the dancers and inked them in black to silhouette them on the inked background. The artwork is 8x10 in an 11x14 mat. This is really my first experience doing a whole piece with inks and I enjoyed it!
