Mixed Media ~ Butterflies

Tonight I am going out to dinner with Merritt, a life long friend of mine. Her birthday was last Sunday, so I thought I would surprise her and create something neat for her. One thing she loves is butterflies. So, I did this mixed media piece on a 2'x3' canvas. I hope she likes it!



I hope that I will get a chance to do some more creating over the weekend so I will have more to share! I am thinking of trying to do some ATC's, but I am just not sure I can create something that small. We'll just have to wait and see what develops!

    This is really cool Risa. Butterflies are some of my favorite origami models. I'm working on ATCs too, but nothing has gelled yet.

    This butterfly composition is so pretty! I love butterfies. I really love your painting style. It's definately recognizable as 'Risa'. Very cool...and your black eyed susans are wonderful. I have yet to be able to paint flowers. Got to work on that.
