Where did my inspiration go?

I have no clue where my inspiration, and my mind has gone, for that matter... I started off trying to do something for the TGIF- postage people challenge. Yes, I did start with 4 postage stamps, but I ended up with a collage of the Beatles, instead of art based on postage people... what can I say.... Here are what the original stamps look like:
